Since the "50s" urban development has rapidly expanded and Montreal has undergone numerous changes making it one of the most attractive cities on the continent. With its underground city and high-rises, the city now stretches its wings and follows the rhythm of other major North American cities. Take the Metro to discover the treasures it offers.
Montreal is a living museum! Look, listen, smell, touch… visitors find themselves at Place D'Youville, in the year 1642; they are then taken trough centuries, right up to the eve of the year 2000. Toronto is a thriving and exciting cosmopolitan city with outstanding nightlife, festivals, art scenes, and restaurants. Ranked as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, and the safest large city in North America, Toronto is ideal for studying English as a Second Language (ESL).
Toronto was designated as the most cosmopolitan city in the world by the United Nations. In the Huron language: Toronto means "Meeting Place", a perfect name for Canada's number-one visitor destination. Our city has world-class cultural and educational facilities, and a very efficient public transit system.
We host the world's largest caribbean festival, and the biggest "Country Fair". Only London and New York sell more theatre seats. The Toronto International Film Festival is second only to Cannes. Imagine!!! Hansa offer tuition in two campuses in the ceter of Toronto; Eglinton Campus and Yonge Campus.
Both of them are close to the Eglinton/Yonge intersection.

Transfer: Hansa can send a friendly driver to meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation. The driver will meet you at the arrival gate after you have cleared customs and picked up your luggage; he will be holding a sign with your name on it. Please do not leave the area near the arrival gate. At times there are many passengers and it is often difficult to locate the student. For the reception at the airport and the transfer to the family home, there is an additional charge of $100.00.
Well-travelled students with a good knowledge of English may prefer to take a taxi or bus from the airport to their accommodation. Taxis will generally cost between $35 and $50 CDN. A single adult fare on Toronto's public transit system (TTC) costs $2.75. The TTC is not recommended for people travelling with a great deal of luggage, especially during rush-hour periods.
Activities: Hansa provides a huge variety of activities with a long list of trips, excursions, sports and other social events. Activities are posted throughout the two campuses as well as on our calendar of events on our web site.
Toronto is one of the greatest cities in the world and has so much to offer visitors; there is always something for everyone, no matter what their tastes may be. From hockey to baseball, museums to international film festivals, cultural events to amusement parks, restaurants to romantic picnics, there is never a dull moment in Toronto!
We also arrange weekend excursions and trips to Niagara Falls, Algonquin Park, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec, New York City and more.
