The small size of ESL Montreux allows us to offer each student personal attention and to assist you when you arrive and throughout your stay. Furthermore, you may use the many computer stations or the wireless network, which covers the entire school, to access the internet and your e-mail free of charge. After your classes, you may stroll with other students right onto terraces that line the shores of Lake Geneva or head over to the nearby shops.
You can easily get to the school from your accommodation by bus or train, as the bus and train stations are 5 minutes away by foot. The course centre features 8 bright, comfortable classrooms, and some of them have a stunning view of the lake and the Alps.

Activities: The Swiss Riviera and Montreux offer you an extremely vast range of leisure activities within a stone’s throw from the school. Various mountain and water sports may be enjoyed in winter and in summer. From mountain climbing to mountain biking, not to mention sailing, waterskiing, tennis, kart racing, bowling, and paragliding, the Riviera is truly a paradise for sports enthusiasts. In the winter, one of the world’s largest ski area, known as “Les Portes du Soleil” (the Gates of the Sun) is just 30 minutes away, and a number of sports clubs are available if you are interested in indoor sports.
Also take time to visit the famous mediaeval Castle of Chillon, to sail on Lake Geneva in a 100-year-old steamboat or to immerse yourself in the dynamic atmosphere of such music festivals as the Montreux Jazz Festival or Nyon’s Paleo Folk Festival. Every week we suggest a number activities “coached” by our staff. There is also a lot of information available if you wish to organize your leisure activities yourself.
Visa information: ESL is happy to help its students to apply for an entry visa and/or a residence permit. Therefore ESL sends the application forms to the student and asks him/her to fill them out and send them back to ESL with the additional documents that need to be provided. As soon as the student has sent all documents to ESL and has paid his language course, ESL will take care about applying for the entry visa and/or the residence permit.
Depending on the nationality of the student, it may take 8 weeks up to several months until the permit is approved. However it just takes 1 to 10 days to get the approval of the visa. What is included?: Tuition, learning material, assessment test, ESL certificate, Free Internet, social program as described, student card and taxes.

Le Bosquet is a Swiss school founded and run by a local family, with over 30 years of success in teaching languages to students from all over the world.
It is a school that puts respect and human values at the forefront.

The modern premises of Le Bosquet are located in the heart of Lausanne with immediate access to public transportation. Although very centrally located, it is in a quiet area, free from noise. It is therefore convenient and provides ideal working conditions.
Le Bosquet offers a wide range of courses in French, English, German, Spanish for all levels of learning, whether you are a beginner looking to learn the language or you are at a more advanced level looking to expand your knowledge.
The school conducts more than 30 classes per week to small groups so that attention is fully given to individual needs.

Transfer: The Swiss public transportation is punctual and very safe.
Public transportation prices can easily be found under: Lausanne Public Transportation System (http://www.t-l.ch/).
Flights: Flight details can be obtained from any destination. The Airport to choose should be the Geneva Airport (Cointrin).

What happens on the first day of school: The first day at school, each student will be placed into the class according to their level and language.
A brief introduction of the school and the surroundings will be given by the teacher.
Each student will be handed the appropriate school material.
Personal introduction to fellow students will then start.
The teacher will finish with an introduction to the course program.
Activities: Le Bosquet is happy to organize an excursion for students upon request and budget.
Le Bosquet works together with professional and trustworthy local travel agencies. These agencies have a wide experience in organizing tours for groups or single trips for individuals.
How to get to the school the first day: If you are taking the train from the Geneva Airport (Cointrin), you should buy a ticket to Lausanne main train station.
Once you get off the train station in Lausanne. You can either walk (direction - Place St-François). Once you get to St. François, Avenue Benjamin Constant is the street vis à vis the main post office.
If you are driving drive to Lausanne city. Park near St-François and follow the direction above.
Visa information: To study for a period longer than three months, ALL foreign students need to be in possession of a student permit. In this case, the student will need to prove that he/she is insured in case of illness or accident. The insurance cover has to be in accordance with the Swiss Law.
Should the student not have insurance, a Swiss insurance can be proposed to him/her before the final enrolment. Le Bosquet administrative office will be happy to provide the student with the necessary information. What is included?: School material, attestation or certificate of studies are included.

Our course centre is located in the centre of Montreux, a stone’s throw from the main station and a 5-minute walk from Lake Geneva.
This modern and welcoming centre has spacious, light classrooms. A common room, which is equipped with computers and free internet access, gives our students the opportunity to work or relax. The course centre has its own gymnasium, as well as a cafeteria where lunch is provided before departing for the afternoon activities.
ESL also offer summer camps in Zug, Ascona and Leysin.
